Trinity was the first non-catholic church in Natchitoches. The first services where held in the Norman Cothic building on Ash Wednesday 1858, when only the walls, floor and ceiling were complete. The tower bell is said to be one-third silver. The church is opened 24 hours daily and it without charge to anyone.
