This museum is located at Patterson Airport and preserves and displays relics of Louisiana's aviation history. The museum is named for two aviation pioneers, Jimmy Wedell and Harry Williams, who designed and constructed record-setting racing planes and founded Lousiana's first commercial airline.
Among the exhibits are a Delta Stearman crop-duster, Beech Staggerwing, President Dwight Eisenhower's Aero-Commander, Farley Vincent's Starflight and a replica of a Mercury space capsule.
The museum is opened Tues.-Sat. and closed on all major holidays.
