This was the home of second President John Adams and his wife, Abigail, until the end of the Revolution. The house was the 1767 birthplace of their son John Quincy, who became the sixth President. Of interest is the law office where was drafted the constitution of Massachusetts, which served as a model for the constitutions of other states, as well as the United States.
