Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) is a 4-year, public, liberal arts, residential college, one of the smallest of the nine state colleges in the Massachusetts Public Higher Education system. It offers 13 B.A. & B.S. degrees with 24 concentrations, plus a graduate program leading to the Master of Education Degree. MCLA is located in the Berkshires, in the northwest corner of the state, in the city of North Adams, population 14,700. and approximately 2.5 hours from Boston. The school occupies 105 acres on a residential campus, serving an undergraduate student body of 1400. Classes average 18 students.
