The Old House was the home of the Adams family 1788-1927. The 1731 house, birthplace of second President John Adams, has furnishings used by four generations. It is part of the Adams National Historic Site, within Adams National Historical Park, in the city of Quincy, about ten miles south of Boston. The Park comprises 11 historic structures and a cultural landscape totaling almost 14 acres.

The Old House was occupied by generations of the Adams family until 1927.

Outside is an 18th century garden.
