Dedicated in 1910 to commemorate the first landing of the Pilgrims in Provincetown on November 21, 1620, the Pilgrim Monument is the tallest all-granite structure in the United States. The museum offers exhibits relating to the history of outer Cape Cod, with displays of ship models, whaling equipment and items salvaged from various nearby shipwrecks. The Pilgrim Room has Mayflower memorabilia on display.
