Boothbay Railway Village |
Located 3.5 miles north on Hwy 27. This turn of the 20th-century Maine village contains railroad memorabilia, antique trucks & cars, restored buildings such as a blacksmith shop, general store, red school house and the 1847 Boothbay Town Hall. The Freeport Railway station and Spruce Point Chapel are also found at the village. A ride on the coal-fired steam engine is offered.
Open daily from 9:30 to 5:00 from mid-June to mid-October.
