Chapman-Hall House

Located on Main St at Church St. This historic Cape Cod-style house is the oldest building extant in Damariscotta. Built by Nathaniel Chapman in 1754, the structure reveals original methods of construction and materials that were used. The best example of this is the kitchen; other rooms reflect changes made to the house in the 1700s and 1800s. Period furnishings are displayed inside the house/museum. Open daily in July and August.
