Frenchman Bay

Frenchman Bay is an inlet of the Atlantic in Hancock County. Its eastern shore is the mainland and its western side is Mt. Desert Island. Mt Desert Narrows connects Frenchman Bay with Blue Bay on the other side of the island.

The principal towns on the bay are Bar Harbor on the island and Winter Harbor on the mainland.
