Holbrook House is a lovely 1876 Victorian showplace on the historic corridor of Bar Harbor. It is one of the first cottages to provide lodging for wealthy Easterners who had discovered the beauty of Mount Desert Island in the late 1800's. It offers ten tastefully decorated guest rooms, all with private bath, as well as two guest cottages, each with two bedrooms, sitting room, bath, and a private patio. They also offer a single-family home, The Hideaway, located on the grounds which can accommodate up six persons. You can enjoy a full gourmet breakfast with home baked muffins, fresh fruit and a delicious hot entree every day, all served in the beautiful sunroom.
