On the shores of Penobscot Bay Open all year This beautiful Greek Revival home was built in 1840 with great attention to architectural detail including stately columns, high ceilings, carved moldings and imported German silver hardware on the doors and windows. Come and enjoy the cherry wood circular stairway, the many marble fireplaces, the handsome library, the spacious twin parlors and cozy conversation area on the second floor landing. Begin your morning with a sumptuous, full breakfast featuring fresh baked goods and Maine produce and products prepared and served by your hosts. On cool evenings and mornings a crackling fire will greet you in one or more of their marble fireplaces. They have 7 rooms, 5 offer private baths with queen or double beds and 2 share a bath with double or 2 twin beds. Each room is furnished with a blend of antiques and comfortable furnishings. Children over 12 accepted; no pets.
