Located on East Kirby Street, this museum features a mounted Bengal tiger, a bird room, an art gallery, American Indian artifacts, natural history exhibits and a planetarium. An Indonesian exhibit and temporary exhibits also are displayed.
Open Monday through Friday 1pm-4pm, Saturday 9am-4pm in October through May; hours vary the rest of the year.
