Ann Arbor Dance Classics provides instruction in the technique, artistry, and discipline that comprises any dance class. Its objective is to expose students to a broad range of classical forms of dance, to value classical ballet as the foundation of other forms of classical dance, to emphasize dance as a means of artistic expression and self-expression, and to enhance the dancer's educational experience with attention to the discipline of dance. It offers classes in the Cecchetti Method, and non-syllabus classes are designed to build strength and flexibility. The curriculum includes Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, Acrobats, and creative movement.
