Deer Forest Fun Park

Comments: The whole park was filthy; over half of the animal exhibits were unoccupied, and many of the cages were terribly dirty and smelly. The Zebu is dangerously overweight and was terribly tormented by flies, apparently no caretakers could be bothered to fly spray any of the resident animals. The pony foal bites (it bit my daughter in the chest when she attempted to feed it); the pony mare is also in danger of founder being fed unlimited corn. One of the mini horses in the "stable" had overgrown feet to the extent that they resembled elf shoes. An entire section of the pig fence was missing and they are only contained by an electric wire about 12 inches off the ground. The larger horse that we petted has his halter growing into his face. The deer were lethargic, unfriendly and many were underweight. The whole attraction of this park is supposed to be the deer; yet when we approached the enclosure there was a posted sign stating that the deer were in rut and "dangerous to approach".
