Herbert H. Dow Historical Museum

Located on Cook Road, this museum chronicles the life of the founder of Dow Chemical Company. The museum is housed in a replica of a gristmill. In a nearby shed Herbert H. Dow conducted his pioneering chemical experiments. Exhibits include Dow's first office, his father's workshop and a 12 minute videotape that features a miniature image of Dow explaining his contributions to chemistry.

Open Wednesday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1pm-4pm; closed holidays.
