Sanilac Petroglyphs State Historic Site features Michigan's only known rock carvings attributed to American Indian workmanship. Take M-53 south of Bad Axe to Bay City-Forestville Road. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Go east four miles to Germania Road, and drive south on Germania one mile. Historic Site - No camping. No services. Open Memorial day through Labor Day.
