In Red River Valley Region, Frazee is located in Becker County. It calls itself The Turkey Capital of the World, and boasts a 22-foot-tall turkey as its mascot. The town lies on Hwy Hwy 87 off US 10, southeast of Detroit Lakes. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,205, an increase of 29 since 1990.
