The R. D. Hubbard House was built in 1871 by the founder of the Hubbard Milling Company. It is a French Second Empire home that has been restored to the 1905 era. This is one of the finest restorations in Minnesota. The house is filled with late 1800s furnishings including Tiffany and Quetzal lights, silk wall coverings, Hand made rugs, hand painted ceilings, and a some original Hubbard Family pieces of furniture. It is open for group tours throughout the year, and for walk in visitors during summer weekends and some December weekends.
