Highway 61 runs from the city of Thunder Bay, in Ontario, to the Minnesota port city of
Duluth. During its course through Minnesota, from
Grand Portage just south of the International Boundary on, it offers a spectacular view of the Lake Superior North Shore, passing
Grand Marais and
Two Harbors along the way. A number of
Minnesota State Parks are located along the way.
