Founded in 1869, this is Minnesota's second largest univesity and the state's most highly accredited undergraduate universisty. SCSU offers over 125 majors, minors and pre-professional programs in colleges of business, education, fine arts & humanities, science & engineering, and social sciences. The campus includes a new $32.5 million state-of-the-art library, and current enrollment stands at about 15,000 students. The top three undergraduate degrees conferred at SCSU are elementary education, applied psychology and mass communication.
