Lake Shetek is located 8 miles north of Slayton off of Higway 59 and 2 miles east on County Road 13 (Valahalla Road). The Lodge offers rooms for one to four people. The suites offer a full kitchen for a larger party of up to eight people. It also provides an outdoor grill facility, picnic tables, campfire pits, firewood available for purchase, sandy beach and playground, gently sloping swim area, beach volleyball or yard games, coin operated facility and canoes. Island activities include dancing, fishing tournaments, marina, camping, gift shop, houseboat cruises, fine dining at one of two restaurants within walking distance and sand volleyball.
