Founded in 1905, this is a state-assisted 4-yr regional university which features an extensive Electronic Campus. The university offers bachelor's, master's and specialist in education degrees as well as one- and two-year certificate programs. Current enrollment is 6200 students. The university has served as the official Missouri State Arboretum since 1993. The campus, in Maryville, is located 90 miles north of
Kansas City and 100 miles south of Omaha.
