This rugged and scenic 3,403-acre park has been preserved in the natural state of the southwest Ozark terrain. The park is highlighted by the headwaters of the Roaring River, fed by over 20 million gallons of water from the Roaring River Spring.
The river features a spring season waterfall from the mountainside into the river, the stream is stocked daily during the March 1-October 31 trout season and fishing for rainbow trout is excellent here.
Park amenities include a swimming pool, hiking trails, over 200 campsites, cabin rentals, fishing and camping supplies available at on-site store, and a stable is open for horse rentals. A new lodge is open for dining and visitor accommodations.
