The Mississippi Museum of Art is the home to some art works. It has several artistic collections.

More than 120 narrative paintings from the middle of the 20th century are featured. Paintings reflect the sweeping social, artistic, and political transformations that took place during two of the most critical decades in American history. Works depict the period from the Wall Street Crash of 1929 through the years of the Great Depression to World War II’s effect on the home front. A full-color, illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
