Built in 1898 for Charles Clark, the historic mansion is located in uptown
Butte. A stately curved staircase leads visitors from the first-floor galleries to the second-floor period museum and on to the fourth-floor ballroom. Striking stained-glass windows, intricate moldings, and the use of wood from around the world create an impressive setting for all the exhibits.
Charles Clark was the son of the "Copper King" William A Clark, whose home, Copper King Mansion, is also open to the public.
Gallery exhibits change every six weeks.
