Cut Bank is the seat of Glacier County, 24 miles west of Shelby on US 2 on the banks of the Marias River near the Canadian border in northwest Montana.

Cut Bank serves as a getaway to the Rocky Mountains and Glacier Park. It is home to the Glacier Historical Museum.
