Hill County, Havre is located 22 miles west of
Chinook on US 2 on the banks of the Milk River.
A 10,000-acre preserve - Beaver Creek Park - is the nation's largest county park, encompassing two lakes. Fresno Reservoir 1s 12 miles west of town.
