Montana's first and best known state park features one of the largest known limestone caverns in the Northwest. Naturally air conditioned, these spectacular caves, lined with stalactites, stalagmites, columns and helictites, are electrically lighted and safe to visit. Above ground, a self-guided nature tour provides opportunities to understand the natural surroundings. There are 44 spaces in the campground, plus 3 camping cabins, picnic sites, firewood, toilets.
Although the park is open all year, guided tours are only provided May through September. The park is 19 miles west of Three Forks on MT Hwy 2.
