Falls House stands in the midst of Cataloochee Ranch, which offers horseback riding, hiking, trout fishing, skiing, hayrides, bonfires and other activities to our guests. Found ed by the late Tom and Judy Alexander in early 1930's, Cataloochee Ranch sits at an elevation of 5000 feet, on a ridge high above the resort town of Maggie Valley. The thousand-acre resort shares a lengthy boundary with the unique Great Smoky Mounta ins National Park, enabling hikers and horseback riders to extend their Ranch excursions to densely-forested slopes and streams within the Park.
