Dare County Regional Airport has a terminal building, modern hangars, two runways with radio controlled lighting, AWOS weather service, DME, VOR, and ADF navigational equipment. The terminal features waiting areas, vending service, pilot snooze rooms, flight planning center with WSI Pilot Briefing, weather channel access, and a selection of pilot supplies and gifts.
The Dare County Regional Airport Museum is located at the end of the airport terminal building. It has models of aircraft that played a part in the aviation history of Dare County. Aircraft such as Fairchild FC-2W2, Martin Bomber MB-2, Stinson 10A, Corsair F4U, Hellcat F6F, and B-2 Stealth Bomber are displayed.
