Hiking, fishing, camping and just enjoying nature are the features of this area. The campground has 34 sites, 12 of which have electric hookups and two are accessible. Campsites offer tent pads, tables and grills. Hot showers and toilets are provided and drinking water is nearby. Streams in the area are considered to be the cleanest in the state. Several species of game fish, including redbreast sunfish, bluegill, Roanoke bass, largemouth bass and chain pickerel make fishing a popular pastime in the park.
