Salisbury

Salisbury is located in Rowan County (of which it is the county seat) south of Winston-Salem between Greensboro and Charlotte along Interstate 85 near Kannapolis, Statesville, Spencer, Lexington, High Rock Lake, and the Yadkin River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 25,100, an increase of 1,474 since 1990.

Salisbury is part of the Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill metro area.
