Saluda is located in
Polk County southeast of
Asheville, between
Tryon and
Hendersonville along Highway 176 on the banks of the Pacolet River near
Flat Rock, Lake Summit, and the Green River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 626, an increase of 83 since 1990.
