Dickinson

Dickinson is located in southwestern North Dakota in Stark County (of which it is the county seat) about 100 miles west of Bismarck along I-94.

Outdoor lovers flock to Patterson Lake, just south of town and the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, about 30 miles to the west. In addition, the city is situated less than an hour's drive south of huge Lake Sakakawea.

For those seeking a post-high school educational experince, the city is home to Dickinson State University.

Golfers can opt to play Heart River Municipal Golf Course, a public facility located along 8th St.
