Interstate 94 in North Dakota is the major east-west artery for the state's highway system. It enters the state at
Fargo on the Minnesota border and travels west passing near or through the major cities of
Valley City,
Jamestown,
Bismarck,
Mandan and
Dickinson before exiting the state just west of
Beach.
The eastern terminus for I-94 is in Milwaukee, WI. It shares a portion of highway with I-90 before splitting off to the north passing through Minneapolis, MN. After passing through North Dakota, it rejoins I-90 just east of Billings in southern Montana.
