McHenry Railroad Loop & Museum

This is the only end-of-the-line turn-around railraod loop in North America and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The depot and museum contain Great Northern Railway memorabilia and a 1938 Russell snowplow.

Open the first and third Sundays of the month, June-August, first Sunday only in September. Train rides daily afternoons and by appointment.
