Richardton is located in southwestern North Dakota in
Stark County just north of
I-94 about 30 miles east of
Dickinson.
Other than the the vast hunting and fishing opportunities associated with the area, the town's most visable asset is the Sacred Heart Monastery, a community of Benedictine women whose origins spring from the St. Mary's, PA, area circa 1910.
