Much like its sister park
Little Missouri State Park about 50 miles to the north-northeast, Sully's Creek State Park is a "primative" park with no electrical hookups. It is located on the banks of the
Little Missouri River in southwestern North Dakota in
Billings County just south of
Theodore Roosevelt National Park (south unit).
The relatively small park of 80 acres offers spectacular views of North Dakota Badlands' rugged buttes and bluffs as well as an endless sky. It offers 15 tent campsites and 15 sites for those on horseback. The park operates on a seasonal basis.
