Grand Forks County

Grand Forks county is perched on the banks of the Red River of the North in eastern North Dakota and calls Grand Forks its county seat. The county population on July 1, 1999, was 64,674, a decrease of 6,009 over the 1990 census.

Points of interest within the county include University of North Dakota, the UND Biology Department & Museum, the UND Geology Museum, the Myra Museum and Campbell House and Turtle River State Park.
