Thousands of people enjoy the recreational facilities at Fermont Lakes State Recreation Area each year, whether they be campers, fishermen, boaters, swimmers or picnickers. Few areas can offer more diversified recreation than this one located 3 miles west of Fremont on U.S. 30. Facilities include picnic tables fireplaces, playground equipment water, lights, electrical hookups, modern restrooms, a sanitary dump station, a shelter house and boat launch sites.
