Established in 1792, the Belknap County village has 25 original Shaker buildings on 694 spectacular acres. At its height in the 1850s, 300 people lived and worked in over 100 buildings on 3,000 acres.The village hosts 60,000 visitors each year, making it New Hampshire's number one cultural attraction.
The Village features herb gardens, nature trails, guided tours, rural craft demonstrations and a unique gift shop. They also offer dining at their award-winning Shaker-inspired restaurant.
