The Bulls Island Natural Area (24 acres) comprises a portion of a small forested island surrounded by the
Delaware River and the
Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park. A trail along the towpath of the canal reveals a lowland floodplain forest dominated by sycamore, silver maple, and tulip poplar. Several rare plant species are found in this natural area. Camping facilities include: 69 tent and trailer sites with fire rings, picnic tables, flush toilets, and showers.
Located in extreme west central New Jersey on the Delaware River near the town of Stockton.
