Lawnside New Jersey |
Named for a lawn next to the railroad station, the Borough of Lawnside is in Camden County, in the Delaware River Region. It is located near the junction of US 30 and the New Jersey Turnpike on the outskirts of Camden. Lawnside was started by abolitionist Quakers as a community where blacks could buy land. Nearby are Barrington, Runnemede, and Somerdale.
