Leasburg Dam State Park

Leasburg Dam was constructed in 1908 at an elevation of 4,200 feet and channels water from the Rio Grande for irrigation in the Mesilla Valley. The park has picnic and camping facilities on both sides of the Rio Grande near the dam. .Leasburg dam is located north of Las Cruces, NM off of I-25.
