San Juan Regional Medical Center and its medical staff of over 135 physicians represent over 26 areas of general and specialty practice. Recent diagnostic and technological improvements at the hospital include laser laparoscopy, mobile lithotripsy, a linear accelerator used in cancer treatment and a sophisticated magnetic resonance imaging unit.
Patient care and convenience have also been enhanced with an new and enlarged emergency/trauma center, and newly constructed Laboratory, Intensive Care, Medical and Day Surgery units featuring the latest in technology and a customer focus. The Urgent Care Center has continued to receive overwhelming community acceptance, expanding the hours of operation to twelve hours daily.
