Two miles from Parrsboro on the shore of the Minas Basin. Late 18th-century dwelling and inn, later the summer home of Hon. Sir Charles Tupper, former prime minister of Canada and Father of the Canadian Confederation. Artifacts on early shipbuilding and lumber, and furnished period rooms. Open 15 Jun-15 Sept, daily 10am-6pm. Admission adults $1. Gift shop, restrooms, bus tours welcome, picnic area, pub.
