This is Nevada's newest state park, located on the shores of the
Colorado River below Laughlin on Nevada's southern tip. The park is highlighted by dramatic views of the river and surrounding mountains. Popular activities are picnicking, fishing, boating and swimming. Though uncompleted at this time, the park will eventually offer camping and hiking facilities. Big Bend can be reached on the Needles Highway, five miles south of Laughlin. Summer temperatures here can reach 120 degrees. Park facilities include showers, boat launch, swimming and fishing.
