Dayton State Park is located on Hwy 50, 12 miles east of
Carson City, in the town of Dayton. Remnants of the Rock Point Mill, built in 1861, are still visible within the park, just west of Hwy 50. The Carson River runs through the park, offering fishing. Park facilities and amenities include camping, picnicking, trails, dump station available.
