This museum explores the culture, environment and history of the Adirondack region. The museum, on 32 acres overlooking
Blue Mountain Lake, has indoor and outdoor exhibits about logging, boating, oudoor recreation and mining. Visitors can also enjoy an elegant private railroad car, a hermits camp and a Bull Cottage enhanced by rustic furniture. Food is available.
Open daily 9:30am-5:30pm in mid-June through October.
