The Burchfield-Penney Art Center is a regional arts museum that serves as a significant cultural resource for Buffalo State College, and the Western New York community, and collects, conserves, exhibits, and interprets the achievements of distinguished artists from Western New York. Besides its regular displays the museum has concerts, lectures, recitals, films and classes. Also on site is an archive. The feature collection is of watercolor paintings by Charles E Burchfield.
